Your Close Attention Makes Open Gym Great
Open Gym is a parent-supervised activity. Please stay near your child, maintain a clear view and be ready to guide them as they explore. MAG staff are available to manage the open gym environment, but each adult is responsible for actively supervising the children they bring.
📵 Phones Away, Eyes on Play
To help everyone enjoy a safe and happy open gym, we ask adults to keep phones tucked away while children are in the gym. It is a wonderful hour to be present, cheer them on and enjoy the fun together!
⭐ Open Gym—not an Instructional Class
Open Gym is an opportunity for children to explore the available gymnastics equipment through parent-supervised active play. It does not include gymnastics instruction, coaching, spotting or structured skill practice. Team equipment and designated competitive training areas are not available during Open Gym—including for team athletes seeking additional practice and for recreational or noncompetitive gymnasts.

Preregister through the Parent Portal and pay $8 for each participating child. Please register before arriving so we can prepare for the correct number of families.

A Few Friendly Reminders
These simple steps help keep open gym comfortable, organized and fun for everyone.
Children remove shoes and socks before entering the gym.
Please place shoes, coats and personal items in a lobby cubby.
Please wait until MAG staff invite families into the gym.
Remain near your child and actively supervise throughout the full hour.
Adults help from the floor and may not climb on or use the gymnastics equipment.
Please use only the areas and equipment opened for Open Gym. Team equipment and competitive training areas are unavailable.
Comfortable clothing and a labeled water bottle are great choices.
